Ann Adams & Company began in 1986 as the result of a fabulous trip to Asia.
Ann was immediately intrigued by that part of the world and the treasures it had to offer. Fine quality cultured pearls and unique custom designed pieces of jewelry were abundant--and available at a significant savings. She was planning a way to share this discovery with soon-to-be clients at home before she left Hong Kong. Ann Adams & Company was born!
On subsequent buying trips, through the years, the company has expanded our search for these pieces to Thailand, Singapore and China. Now the locations of our sources run the gamut from isolated factories to small shops in out of the way alleys and high-rise buildings in the heart of the city. Still, as in the beginning of this enterprise, each strand of pearls is hand selected and each piece made to our specifications. This is of primary importance to us.
